The Biminle herbal nose clip
Traditional Chinese medicine modernised
The Biminle herbal nose clip was invented by leading scientists and traditional Chinese medical doctors during their research into modernising traditional Chinese medicine. The lead scientists are prominent figures in China’s scientific community and are honoured with the highest level of achievement in Chinese science and engineering.
Biminle helps relieve the symptoms of hay fever, seasonal allergies, environmental pollution and common colds:
- Blocked nose
- Sneezing
- Itchy runny nose
- Dry or irritated nasal passages

Why a nasal clip?
Nearly all modern medicine is taken orally via a tablet or a capsule or drunk in liquid form. This means the medicine typically goes through the "first pass effect" on the liver. This effect can result in compromising the quality of the medicine or even make it inactive before it enters the whole-body via blood circulation. It can also increase the burden of the liver function.
Aware of this, one of the doctors, coming from a traditional Chinese medical family and the last disciple of a Taoist master doctor, applied the Chinese medical theory of Smell the fragrance to cure diseases to work out the Biminle solution: the Chinese herb mixture is an aromatherapy with continuous effect whilst worn. The clip design is light and comfortable to wear and designed ergonomically.

Ancient Origins
The medical monograph Ben Cao Jing (Classic of Herbal Medicine) by Shen Nong was written some 2,000 years ago. It states that fragrance strengthens vital energy. According to this work, vital energy [sometimes called chi] helps to eliminate pathogenic factors and avoid illness. Medicinal fragrances, such as herbs, can reduce or even eliminate pathogenic energies. Fragrances can improve circulating energy and blood circulation.
In this sense, Biminle could be described as a form of traditional Chinese medical aromatherapy.
